Spring Break Mission Team: Costa Rica

Over Spring Break, a mission team composed of Mount Pisgah students and faculty traveled to Costa Rica through a continued partnership with Ed and Patti Pease and World Mission Partners. The ten middle and upper school students served with a Costa Rican Christian organization called Coexion throughout the week. They traveled to and served in several public elementary schools. They shared the message of Christ's love through stories, songs and fun activities with the children.

MS Bible Teacher Nathaniel Hilliard had this to say about the team. “Each student participated in sharing Christ's love by passionately serving our ministry partners and loving all of the children we came in contact with. During our daily debriefs there were several students who even expressed that this trip was "life changing" and "very impactful for my faith.”

Outside of the spiritual impact, the team had a blast flying through the jungle canopy on a high adventure zip line tour and touring the capital city of San Jose. They were encouraged to think deeply about what it means to love God and others not simply through our words, but with our actions as well.
