Fine Arts

Pisgah Fine Arts

Welcome

Every one of us is created to be creative. The Fine Arts department serves students from Junior Kindergarten to 12th grade by developing their creativity as a form of intelligence that empowers them to investigate, interpret and respond to the challenges of an ever-changing world.

While we strive for achievement and mastery in all artistic disciplines — Music, Theatre, and Visual Art — we place a greater value in developing every student, no matter their skill level, as a young artist. Whether a student is pursuing a college career in music performance, developing a love for ceramics, gaining the courage to play a solo, or just trying out an improv class for the first time, valuing process as much as product is the key to excellent arts education at Mount Pisgah.

For students who are dedicated to a higher level of excellence in the Arts, Mount Pisgah has thriving chapters of the National Art Honor Society, International Thespian Society, and Tri-M Music Honor Society.

Mount Pisgah students annually compete in events sponsored by Georgia Independent School Association, Georgia Music Educator Association, Georgia Art Education Association. Student creations have been featured at the U.S. Capitol, Disney World, local art galleries, and on university and city stages.

Parents of all grade levels who are interested in being involved in supporting Pisgah Fine Arts can join our Arts booster club, Patriot Arts, which helps to organize arts events, grow awareness of, and raise money for the program.
