THE HEART BEHIND THE WELCOME
How Parent Ambassadors bring Pisgah to life
At Mount Pisgah Christian School, parent involvement plays a meaningful role in shaping the entire community’s experience.
From Patriot Parents, who lead incredible events throughout the year, to this dedicated group known as Parent Ambassadors, families step in to create connections and help make Pisgah feel like home.
A Warm Welcome, Built by Parent Ambassadors
From the moment a family signs their enrollment contract, that sense of welcome becomes personal.
A Parent Ambassador reaches out with a familiar voice and a genuine invitation into the Pisgah community. These parents serve as an extension of the MPCS Admissions team, helping welcome new families while strengthening relationships within each grade. Their role supports both new and returning families and helps ensure every family feels welcomed and seen.

Each grade level is supported by one or more Parent Ambassadors who step into this role with care and intention. They are often the first parent contact a new family hears from, ready to answer questions and offer reassurance during a time that can feel both exciting and uncertain.
For new families, that support is both personal and practical from the very beginning. Here’s a sample of what you can expect:
- A personal introduction from your grade’s Parent Ambassador shortly after enrollment
- A go-to parent contact for questions as they come up throughout the year
- A thoughtful summer touchpoint and an invitation to connect before school begins
- A back-to-school gathering to meet other families in your grade
- Additional grade-level events that help build relationships over time
But, what makes this group so special is not just what they do, but how they do it.
“These women are so gifted at loving on and making families feel seen,” says Megan Koch, Director of Admissions. “They truly understand the assignment.”

They lead with kindness and show up with intention, understanding that small moments can shape another family’s experience in a meaningful way.
Parent Ambassadors model the spirit that draws families to Mount Pisgah Christian School in the first place. They remind each new parent that they are not navigating this experience alone, but joining a community that is ready to welcome them.

It is a role rooted in service and shaped by relationships. Because of it, our MPCS families feel like they truly belong.
Thank you, Parent Ambassadors!
