Service Day: Middle School

Before leaving for Thanksgiving break, our Middle School participated in a day of service. Students and teachers completed a variety of service projects for our local community and the school campus including crafting blankets, writing cards to service members and planting tulips in the Meditation Garden.

5th Grade - Our 5th grade students visited the fire station to hand deliver a snack basket for our first responders. They also visited a senior living center to sing and deliver handmade cards.

6th Grade - Our 6th grade students made greeting cards for our troops, planted the tulips for the Meditation Garden, and crafted blankets to be donated to Mission Georgia.

7th Grade - Our 7th grade students volunteered for GCAC of Georgia, a local foster care organization. They learned about foster care, cleaned the facilities, and delivered diapers and pacifiers. To learn more about them, you can visit their website: https://www.gcacofgeorgia.com/

8th Grade - Our 8th grade students learned about Mission Georgia, a local organization that helps with childhood literacy, foster care and adoptions, human trafficking, refugees, and maternity care. They organized our donation of pajamas, wrote cards for the families that will use them. To learn more about them, you can visit their website: https://missiongeorgia.org/
