Horticulture Garden: Fall Update

Mr. Joubert Pierre, Horticulture teacher
As the warm weather is replaced by cooler temperatures, our Horticulture garden is also experiencing change.

This summer we were able to grow over 40 types of plants which included various herbs, cucumbers, eggplant, and peppers to name a few. Students just excavated sweet potatoes, which is the last of our summer crop.

We are now preparing the raised beds to introduce a fall/winter crop which will include: lettuce, swiss chard, beets, carrots, and much more.

We are excited about what we've been able to produce this year, with donations going to North Fulton Community Charities.
