What do you do for a living now?
Full-time University of Georgia student, entrepreneur

Do you think your time at Mount Pisgah helped you to pursue this? If yes, how?
In some ways yes, Pisgah had an impact on my decision to pursue this dream. I was surrounded by adult entrepreneurs daily and also learning who I was. I was slowly learning over the 4 years at Mount Pisgah that I wanted to do more. I did not want to sit behind a desk longer than I had to and I wanted to grow into a position I made for myself.

Did you ever envision doing this while you were at Mount Pisgah?
While at Mount Pisgah my main focus was college. With all the helpful counselors and resources, college was the main priority and all that was on my mind. I am sure that throughout this process I had a glimpse of where I wanted to go from there, but the idea for a clothing line came after I settled in to college.

Where do you live now?
I live in Athens for the most part, but go home to Alpharetta on some weekends or random days I have meetings or something going on for my business.

Did you enjoy your time at Mount Pisgah?
I did enjoy my time at Pisgah. The small environment helped me discover who I was and allowed me to have close relationships with coaches and other academic advisors.

Who was your favorite teacher and why?
My favorite teacher never got the chance to teach me, but she was my coach. Shannon Sanders (Heotaky) the Varsity cheer coach had one of biggest impacts on my time at Mount Pisgah. She encouraged all of us to flourish into the best woman we could be while sharing the influence God had on our lives. She kept us grounded in what mattered but also helped me grow into the woman I am today.

What was your most memorable moment as a student?
My most memorable moment had to be Friday nights. The whole school coming together to cheer on the football team made for a fun Friday night! I remember cheering through the rain, the cold, and making every far game feel like a road trip with the rest of my team. We would play music on the bus, go to Chick-fil-a or Panera every time, and made some great memories out of each game.

Do you still keep in touch with anyone you met at Mount Pisgah?
Yes, I see students around school all the time and live with Morgan, one of my friends now.

Describe Mount Pisgah in 3 words?
Family, Faith, FUN (SharpTop, spirit days, etc.)

What is your lasting impression of Mount Pisgah?
Mount Pisgah is a great place to build relationships and create an environment that can feel like home. There is a friend everywhere you look and a chance to make a new relationship every day. It uses faith to get through trial, and creates an environment to help students grow, graduate, and conquer their next steps.
