FALL FUN FOR OUR PRESCHOOL PATRIOTS
Preschool families gathered on campus for Murray Academy's family fun night.
On Thursday evening, October 22, Murray Academy preschool families dropped in on campus for Fall Family Fun Night.
Outside, kids took turns flying down the bounce house slide and chasing bubbles near the playscape. Some lined up at the cornhole boards. Others headed straight for the swings. Inside, friends crowded around giant coloring sheets with baskets of markers, and the basketball game drew a steady line all night. Families grabbed popcorn and jack-o’-lantern goodie bags on their way through, and plenty of them stopped at our hay bale and sunflower backdrop for a fall photo.
Parents swapped stories while their kids played. We loved seeing teachers greet their students and families by name.
Murray Academy is Mount Pisgah’s full-day preschool program for three- and four-year-olds, located on our Lower School campus. Classes are intentionally small to foster deeper relationships between peers and between faculty and students. In addition to their standard, play-based curriculum, twice a week, students attend chapel, art, music, P.E. and STEAM classes, and teachers weave early reading and science instruction into hands-on play. In chapel, children sing and learn Bible stories that lay the first foundation for their faith.
Want to see it for yourself? Join us for Murray Academy Parent Preview Day on Thursday, November 12, 10:00–11:30 a.m. You’ll hear from Head of School Dr. Chris Harmon and current Murray parents before touring our classrooms and playscapes. Our Admissions team will be on hand to answer your questions. Register for Preview Day here.
