THERE'S A CLUB FOR THAT
The Upper School Club Fair gives a closer look at student-run organizations built on shared interests
The Upper School Club Fair gives MPCS high school students a chance to explore the many ways they can get involved outside of the classroom.
Especially helpful for freshmen discovering opportunities for the first time, the fair included students across Upper School to learn more about the wide range of organizations available on campus.
Some clubs connect students through academics and achievement, including National Honor Society, English Honor Society, arts honor societies and Tri-M Music Honor Society. Others form out of faculty or student interests, with clubs focused on everything from marine science and investing to leadership and pickleball.
Several also reflect the culture of Mount Pisgah in unique ways. The Random Acts of Kindness Club encourages students to intentionally support others, while Patriot Pulse creates space for students to engage in meaningful conversations about topics that matter.
Clubs may be founded by students or faculty members, giving students the opportunity to join something that interests them or help build something new. To be recognized as an official Upper School club and included in the yearbook, each group must meet at least twice during the fall semester.
With many more options represented at the Club Fair, students had the chance to discover new interests and connect with people who share them. Clubs also give students another avenue for leadership and belonging, helping make space for their interests and ideas to become part of everyday life at Mount Pisgah.
