MPCS Earns Platinum Recognition on the AP School Honor Roll

MPCS GOES PLATINUM

MPCS awarded highest recognition level by AP School Honor Roll for 2025

Mount Pisgah Christian School has been named a 2025 AP School Honor Roll recipient, earning the Platinum level distinction, the highest recognition awarded by the College Board. This honor reflects our commitment to academic excellence within a faith-based learning environment.

Launched in 2023, the AP School Honor Roll recognizes schools that provide broad access to Advanced Placement coursework while maintaining high standards for student achievement. Schools are evaluated annually using research-based criteria that connect AP participation and performance to positive college outcomes. The Honor Roll includes four levels of distinction: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum.

This recognition is based on indicators that demonstrate a school’s commitment to preparing students for college and supporting long-term student success. To qualify, schools must meet three key benchmarks of college readiness within their most recent graduating class:

  • College Culture: At least 40 percent of graduates took one or more AP exams during high school.
  • College Credit: At least 25 percent of graduates earned a score of 3 or higher on an AP exam.
  • College Optimization: At least 2 percent of graduates took five or more AP exams across their high school years, including at least one exam in ninth or tenth grade.

Earning the Platinum distinction places Mount Pisgah Christian School among a select group of schools nationwide recognized for both excellence and access.
