FROM ALPHA TO OMEGA
A senior spotlight on growing up at Mount Pisgah Christian School from kindergarten to graduation
For a group of seniors in the Class of 2026, Mount Pisgah Christian School has been a constant from their very first day. Known as Alpha to Omega students, these seniors have been part of the Mount Pisgah community since kindergarten, growing up together through every stage of learning, faith, and friendship.
In a recent Beyond the Bell senior spotlight episode, several Alpha to Omega students sat down with episode host Lila-Belle Mutch to reflect on their journey. They shared memories from Lower School, moments that shaped them in Middle and Upper School, and the lessons they will carry with them as they prepare for college and what comes next.
Their reflections offer a meaningful look at what it means to be part of a community for the long haul and how Mount Pisgah Christian School shapes students for life beyond graduation.
Growing Up Side by Side
One of the most defining parts of the alpha to omega experience is time. Thirteen years of shared classrooms, retreats, traditions, and everyday moments build a foundation that runs deep.
Even as friendships evolved, the sense of familiarity never faded.
“Even if we haven’t talked in a few months, they’re always the easiest people to talk to. They’ve just been such constants throughout our whole time here.” - Maddie Cuppia
Growing up together created a community where students did not need to be in the same friend group to feel connected. There was a shared understanding, a shared history, and a shared sense of care for one another that shaped their relationships in a lasting way.
Teachers Who Walked Alongside Them
Across every stage of their journey, relationships with teachers stood out as a defining part of the Mount Pisgah experience. Small class sizes and long-standing connections created space for students to ask questions, struggle openly, and grow with confidence.
“I don’t think I’d be where I am academically if I didn’t feel comfortable enough to ask questions or comfortable enough to fail and learn.” - Caroline Sharp
From the perspective of these MPCS seniors, teachers were not just there to teach content. They were present in the process, encouraging students through challenges and helping them believe they were capable, even when something felt overwhelming.
That sense of support shaped how students viewed learning and how they approached challenges well beyond the classroom.
Faith That Shows Up Every Day
For these seniors, faith was not something reserved for chapel or Bible class. It was part of the daily rhythm of school life.
“If I went to another school, I don’t think my faith would be where it is today.” - Eli Witherspoon
Bible classes, retreats, chapels, and conversations with peers all played a role in helping students grow spiritually, but what mattered most was the freedom to ask questions and explore faith honestly.
Becoming Who You Are
Being an Alpha to Omega student means being shaped over time. These seniors reflected on how MPCS influenced not just what they know, but who they are.
“This school has really shaped me. It’s a huge part of who I am.” - Ellie Scott
From trying new activities to learning how to build meaningful community, students were encouraged to step in, take risks, and discover what they loved.
“Pisgah taught me to just try it. You never know what you might end up loving.” - Ellie Scott
As they look ahead to college, many shared excitement about stepping outside their comfort zones while knowing they are grounded in a community that will always feel like home.
Looking Ahead With Gratitude
The Alpha to Omega journey is a powerful example of what long-term formation looks like. It is growth that happens slowly, intentionally, and in relationship with others.
As these seniors prepare for their next chapter, they carry with them lessons rooted in faith, confidence built through community, and relationships that will last well beyond their time on campus.
