ASPIRING TO DISTINCTION: A STANDOUT ACHIEVEMENT
Junior Grace Stearns selected for Georgia Governor's Honors Program
Junior Grace Stearns has been selected for the Georgia Governor’s Honors Program (GHP) in Communicative Arts, a highly competitive honor that recognizes some of the state’s most talented and dedicated high school students.
Each summer, GHP brings together rising juniors and seniors from across Georgia for a residential academic experience centered on their area of study. Hosted on a college campus, the program offers an immersive environment where students engage in advanced coursework, collaborate with peers, and continue developing their skills through both structured learning and creative exploration.
Grace’s selection reflects not only her strength as a writer, but also her curiosity, discipline, and commitment to honing her craft. Opportunities like GHP allow students to grow in meaningful ways, both academically and personally, while connecting with others who share their passions.
At Mount Pisgah Christian School, we believe in supporting students as they discover and cultivate their interests, equipping them with the courses, tools, confidence, and encouragement to take their learning further. Moments like this are a reflection of that journey in action.
We are proud of Grace for this outstanding achievement and look forward to all that lies ahead as she continues to grow and excel both on and off campus.
