MPCS receives $1M grant

Dear Mount Pisgah Family,

The Board of Trustees, incoming Head of School Dr. Chris Harmon, the Office of Advancement, and I invite you to join us in giving thanks to God for His provision.

We are excited to announce that a $1,000,000 grant has been awarded to Mount Pisgah Christian School by the Stuart and Eulene Murray Foundation for the construction of our exciting new preschool facility, located on the first floor of the Lower School on South Campus.

Our new 24,000 square foot preschool, now the Stuart and Eulene Murray Academy, will be a state-of-the-art facility with 10 new classrooms, chapel and theatre space, innovation center, indoor interactive play space, and a nature-inspired outdoor Playscape. First made possible by Mount Pisgah Church’s generous gift to the school of the South Campus property itself, the Murray Academy will be the standard-bearer for what preschool education can be when facilities match the skill and commitment of the teacher and the sense of wonder of the child.

The Stuart and Eulene Murray Foundation has a strong history of serving Christian education by supporting programs that are making a difference. We are humbled to have them partner with us. We are deeply grateful for this generous grant that will make it possible for MPCS to show the love of Christ and lay a strong learning foundation for preschoolers for years to come.

Please give thanks to God with us. Watch for future announcements this summer about the ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the Murray Academy for Fall 2023.

Blessings,
 David Tilley, Ed.D.
