What do you do for a living now?

Currently am the CEO of a software company called Stream Live Inc. We are an enterprise video delivery company that works with professional sports organizationss, NASA, and large media companies. We also have a consumer live trivia application where people sign in to play twice a day for a chance at a cash prize.

Do you think your time at Mount Pisgah helped you to pursue this? If yes, how?

Yes, Mount Pisgah help set me up for success by teaching me how to code and start my entrepreneurial venture.

Did you ever envision doing this while you were at Mount Pisgah?

Not this specific job but I always saw myself as an entrepreneur who would somehow be involved in software.

Where do you live now?

Charleston, South Carolina. I moved there for college and have stayed ever since.

Did you enjoy your time at Mount Pisgah?

Yes, I loved it. I met many great people and have long-lasting memories while still keeping in touch with many of my old classmates.

Who was your favorite teacher and why?

Derek Otieno hands down! Not only was he my favorite teacher at Mount Pisgah but he was my favorite teacher I have ever had. His passion for Computer Science helped motivate me when I was a high school student and I credit him for being one of the reasons I started to code in high school.

What was your most memorable moment as a student?

Winning the conference tennis tournament consecutive seasons my junior and senior season.

What was your funniest moment as a student?

Can’t think of anything off the top of my head, but it was most likely something that Minjae Kim did.

Do you still keep in touch with anyone you met at Mount Pisgah?

I stay in touch with a lot of people from the tennis team as well as some core friends in my class. I don’t make it back to Atlanta much but when I do I always make a point to see a few of them.

Would you send your children to Mount Pisgah?

If I live in Alpharetta at the time, yes!

What is your lasting impression of Mount Pisgah?

I will always remember Mount Pisgah as the place I learned how to code and the place I met lifelong friends. Without Mount Pisgah, I might not have the strong morals and character traits they helped teach and I, for certain, would not be where I am today in my career if it wasn’t for Mr. O!
