Fine Arts

Arts at Pisgah

The Fine Arts department serves students by developing their creativity as a form of intelligence that will enable them to investigate, interpret and respond to the challenges of an ever-changing world.

While we still develop and hone our performing ensembles — Chorus, Band, Orchestra, and Drama — and strive for achievement in our Visual Arts department, the focus is on students growing as artists. Whether a student is pursuing a career in music performance or trying out an improv class, valuing process over product is key to a fine arts education.

Mount Pisgah has thriving chapters of the National Art Honor Society, National Thespian Society and Tri-M Music Honor Society.

Mount Pisgah students annually compete with students in events sponsored by Georgia Independent School Association, Georgia Music Educator Association, Georgia Art Education Association. Student creations have been featured at the U.S. Capitol, Disney World, local art galleries, and on university and city stages.
Classroom instruction is also supported by the Mount Pisgah Arts Academy, which offers one-on-one musical instruction, as well as additional theatrical, dance and art opportunities after school.

Our parents support us through memberships in AAMP, the Arts Association of Mount Pisgah.
