Why do you love teaching or working at Mount Pisgah?

I love teaching at Mt. Pisgah Christian School because students have a true joy of learning and performing quality music at its highest level.

Who was the most influential teacher/coach/instructor when you were growing up? What was it about him/her that impacted you?

My favorite teacher was Ms. Freeman, my senior English and Humanities instructor. She challenged us to reach beyond what we thought we were capable of achieving academically and to think deeply about the human experience.  She expanded the way we thought about our world and helped us see the connections between the Arts and the human experience not only as seen great authors and poets, but also as experienced by us.

What is your favorite moment/memory as a Pisgah employee?

Working with our youngest students and watching them grown into mature musicians and successful young adults.

What is your favorite Bible verse?

Psalm 46:10 "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
