What is your fondest Pisgah memory?
My fondest memory at Mount Pisgah was the day I felt proud and glad to drop my only daughter, Jocelyn, off to attend kindergarten at Mount Pisgah. I knew she would be safe, loved, and taken care of.
Why do you teach or work at a school?
The main reason I like to teach and coach is because I want to be a positive mentor/role model to all young students growing up today. I feel there are so many people who claim to be positive mentor/role models for our youth today, but are far from it. Students today try to find mentors outside of their family to cling and listen to and I feel its important for them to have someone that lives a Christian and positive lifestyle for them to look up to.
How do you reach students?
I try to reach the students at their level. I feel in order for students to better understand the material they must be able to apply it and see it in their everyday life. As a teacher or coach once you start delivering the material so the students can see it take place in their eyes you’ve won!
What is your favorite Bible verse?
1 Corinthians 9:24: Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.
