Why do you love teaching or working at Mount Pisgah?
I love teaching because of the bond I form with my students. I have always loved children and its truly a joy for me to spend everyday with them. Math has always been a passion of mine too and I love being able to show students that math really can be fun and to help give them the confidence they need to succeed.
Who was the most influential teacher/coach/instructor when you were growing up? What was it about him/her that impacted you?
My Precalculus and AP Statistics teacher, Ms. King. She was not only a phenomonal teacher, but also had a heart of gold and connected with her students with so much love and care. She inspired me to become a math teacher and I will always be grateful for the impact she had on my life.
What is your favorite Bible verse?
"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his possession, so that you may proclaim the praises of the one who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Once you were not a people, but now you are God's people; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy." 1 Peter 2:9,10
