Why do you love teaching or working at Mount Pisgah?
I love the environment and people I work with. Everyone is so genuine and is always willing to help. I feel like I can really be myself, which is something that not many people are able to do in their work environment.
Who was the most influential teacher/coach/instructor when you were growing up?
Coach Lu Harris-Champer, my softball coach at the University of Georgia, was a huge influence in my life. She saw potential in me from the beginning, and she was tough on me because she cared about my growth as an athlete and a person. Had she not pushed me the way she did throughout my career, I would not be the person I am today. I learned not only an amazing amount of skills from her, but also more life lessons than I even realize at times.
What is your favorite moment/memory as a Pisgah employee?
This is my first year at Pisgah, and I'm so excited and thankful for the opportunity to be here. While I don't have a favorite memory yet, I'm looking forward to the many moments and memories that will be made over my time here.
What is your favorite Bible verse?
"For I know the plans I have for you", declares the Lord, " plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
