THE ARTS AT MOUNT PISGAH

Each year, talented Mount Pisgah student artists compete in art exhibitions, band, orchestra, choral and theater competitions. AP Studio Art students spend countless hours creating portraits for underprivileged children in third world countries through The Memory Project. Mount Pisgah has a thriving chapter of the National Art Honor Society, National Thespian Society and Tri-M Music Honor Society. Student creations have been featured at the U.S. Capitol, Disney World, local art galleries, and on university and city stages.

Mount Pisgah students annually compete with students in events sponsored by Georgia Independent School Association, Georgia Music Educator Association, Georgia Art Education Association.

Our parents support us through memberships in AAMP, the Arts Association of Mount Pisgah. Learn more here.

Fine Arts Honor Societies

The International Thespian Society (ITS), founded in 1929, is an honorary organization for high school and middle school theatre students located at more than 4,900 affiliated secondary schools across America and abroad. The mission of ITS is to honor student achievement in the theatre arts.

At MPCS, Thespian Troupe 7371 membership is awarded to any student who is interested. Continued membership is guaranteed by accruing participation points throughout the year. Troupe 7371 members work together to create shows, practice improv, participate in service projects and attend the Georgia Thespian Conference every year.
