Bus Routes & Pick-up Locations

MPCS offers morning and afternoon transportation. The available routes and the stops are listed below along with approximate pick-up times. Kindly keep in mind that pick-up and arrival times are estimated and are dependent upon the number of students picked up at each stop.

Arrival at MPCS

Drivers will drop students off at South Campus first, followed by drop-off at East Campus. At East Campus, drop-off is at the Drummond Center. Students will go to Geier Hall prior to the start of school. At South Campus, drivers will pull up to the covered drive and will walk children to Early Bird Care until the school day begins. No additional enrollment in Early Bird care is necessary.

Wednesday Morning Late Arrival

Transportation service will run five days a week at the same time each day. On Wednesdays, transported US and MS students will have access to the Student Commons of Geier Hall until school begins. Lower school students will be dropped off at Early Bird care.

Calendar

School Transportation service will only be provided on days when school is in session. Please refer to the main school calendar to verify school closings.

Severe Weather/School Closings

If there is a change to our regular school schedule due to inclement weather, we will inform parents no later than 5:30 a.m. that day via email and text. We will also inform various media outlets and post weather updates on our website and social media.

Parent Communication

In order to ensure student safety and aid bus drivers an efficient pick-up, students will be expected to ride the bus each day. Absences should be reported to drivers in advance. Absences can be communicated to a driver via text as late as 8 p.m. the night before. To report a last minute, same-day absence, the message must be received by 6 a.m. and no earlier than 5 a.m. Parents/guardians will be required to remain at the morning pick-up location until their children are picked up by the driver and must be present at the location at the time of drop-off for afternoon transportation.
