Senior Class Gift Campaign

"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion,
for God loves a cheerful giver." ~2 Corinthians 9:7

The Class of 2018 will carry on the Senior Class Gift tradition.

We will be asking each Mount Pisgah senior to make a gift – of any amount – in honor or memory of an individual, a pair (such as parents or grandparents) or a group/club that has had a positive impact on their lives while they have been at Mount Pisgah Christian School. The goal of the Senior Class Gift campaign is to educate seniors on the importance of philanthropy, inspire them to develop gratitude toward others and demonstrate the need to give back to their soon-to-be alma mater.

Each senior will receive a giving form, and forms will also be available in the front office and online by clicking here. Students will be directed to leave their gifts with Molly Richey in the front office.

For seniors who have questions about an amount, we are suggesting $20.18 as homage to their graduating class, but the heart of this is that the gift amount is meaningful to them. These gifts will go toward the school's Annual Fund, and all students who give will be recognized in the Annual Report, with the Senior Class Gift campaign and honor/memorial gifts highlighted in special sections.

Students can make their gifts with cash or check, or they can make a gift online with a credit/debit card. The name on the check or credit/debit card must match the student's name to ensure that he or she will receive full credit for the gift. Seniors can make their gift until June 30, 2018, which is the end of the School's fiscal year.

The Senior Class Gift campaign is more about an attitude of appreciation than about giving any specific dollar amount. Our hope is that all of Mount Pisgah's seniors will participate in honoring someone with a gift that is meaningful to them.

During last year's Senior Class Gift campaign, we asked the seniors to finish the sentence, “I am giving back to Mount Pisgah Christian School because…, " and here are a few responses:

“Mount Pisgah has pretty much been my entire life. It has shaped me into who I am today. The teachers here have always been so nice and supportive, and the administration has always worked hard to make sure I am successful. I can’t imagine what my life would be like without Mount Pisgah.”

“Mount Pisgah has given a lot to me. First of all, I got a great education. I learned about academics and myself. More importantly, Mount Pisgah gave me some of the best relationships I’ve ever had.”

“...the school has given me the opportunity to make long-lasting friends, play on great teams, obtain a good education and make memorable trips to SharpTop.”

“...of the opportunities the school has given me and the time and sacrifices the teachers and administrators have given me over the years. Thank you for setting me up for the rest of my life.”

"One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts." ~Psalm 145:4
