Lower School

Welcome to the Mount Pisgah Christian School application process.

We are so glad you're here. Please follow the following steps.

The priority deadline for a completed application for the 2019-2020 school year is March 1, 2019. Admission decision letters will be mailed on March 29, 2019 and communicated electronically on March 30, 2019. After March 1st we will continue to accept applications in grades with openings. Decisions are made on a rolling basis as files are completed.

Complete an online application or return to your current account: Payment of a $125 non-refundable application fee is required for each application.

As part of the application process you will be asked to enter the names and email addresses of your child's school registrar/records person and current teacher. These will be used to obtain transcripts and a teacher evaluation on your student. You will be notified when we receive these documents from the school.

Step 3 - Map Testing/Shadow ExperiencE

There will be a scheduled MAP test to assess each applicant.  Following the test, applicants will have an opportunity to meet students and teachers in the classroom during the shadow day.  Shadow days are as follows:

Wednesday, February 6, 2019 – rising 3rd and 4th grade students
Thursday, February 7, 2019 – rising 1st and 2nd grade students
Wednesday, February 13, 2019 – rising JK and Kindergarten students
Wednesday, February 20, 2019 – rising JK, Kindergarten and 1st grade students make up day
Thursday, February 21, 2019 – rising 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade students make up day


Step 4 - Attend Preview Day

Saturday, January 26, 2019

11:00am – Geier Hall

Preview Day begins with a short informational meeting with our Head of School followed by student led tours.


Step 5 - Parent Interview

Admissions will contact you to schedule this, if necessary.
